1 - 1 in the league.

The EJA u13 boys played host to league opposition Felixstowe and Walton.
Felixstowe have a number of strong players and pass the ball well. City started with a 4-5-1 formation with a full squad of subs available to come on. Cam in goal, Max, Hayden, Luke and Shane at the back, Joel and James wide midfield, Tennie and Billy in Midfield with Sam just behind Callum who was up front on his own.
Felixstowe passed the ball about well, but could not seem to get through the City defence or Cam in goal.
City only really troubled the away defence with a corner and free kick, both of which were easily cleared.
Felixstowe scored in the first half after a good passing move was well converted.
City were finding chances difficult as Callum was being well marked up front and attack after attack needed to be broken down by City, as Felixstowe tried to pass the ball.
Jack replaced Tennie in midfield mid way through the first half, but City could not seem to find passes from defence or midfield.
0-1 Halftime.
4 Changes were made at half time with Luke, Max, Billy and Joel being replaced by Kyran, Ed, Gabe and George.
The city defence worked hard and put in a number of good challenges and Cam did well to come off his line twice and when required handled and distributed well.
City equalised midway through the 2nd half when Sam worked hard to find a little space in the box and pass the ball onto James who from inside the box fired into the far corner out of reach of the Felixstowe keeper.
Shane was replaced by Luke and late in the half Max and Joel replaced Hayden and Sam.
Felixstowe had 2 clear chances to win it, but Cam denied the away strikers. City nearly nicked it right at the end when a Tennie Corner bounced in the box, but nobody was able to get on the end of it and steal a win for Chelmsford.
Chelmsford will take a point against a team that has won 8 out of 10 league games and are finalists in the EJA cup and Suffolk County Cup holders.
Man of the match went to Cam for a good keeping display.
