1. Ladies & Girls

Chelmsford City Ladies & Girls Football Club cater for girls and women from the age of 7 upwards. We are currently running six teams - U10s Development, U11s, U13s, U15s, Reserve Team and First Team. Our U11s, U13s, U15s, Reserves and First Team all compete in the Essex County Women's and Girl's Leagues. The U10 team are too young to play competitive football, but they play friendly matches on a regular basis, alongside football festivals organized by the Essex County Girl's League.

We are a friendly football club who will welcome any girl or woman who wishes to play football in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. All of our coaches have attended courses and gained their Level One Coaching Badge, and several of these coaches also have a Level Two Coaching Badge.

If you are interested in joining this friendly Charter Standard club with a fantastic reputation, please do not hesitate to call Dawn Barnard on 01245 284377 or email cclfcsecretary@gmail.com. Whether you are a vastly experienced footballer or a complete beginner, we will be happy to have you on board.

Our prolific junior section has produced some outstanding talent over the years, with a great example being the young Darel Poole, who came through our junior ranks before being scouted for the England youth teams. Darel played in the Women's Premier League and has also featured for England U19s and captained England U17s. The majority of the players in our senior squads have come through from the junior teams, and a good number of these players have also gone on to represent the county squad. We have also had two players , Carly Waters and Lisa Nepean, who have represented England and Great Britain in the Deaf squads winning silver and bronze medals.
