Away loss.

Boys played at Felixstowe who are unbeaten in the league.
City started with Cam in goal, Hayden, Max and Luke at the back. Joel and James wide with Tennie, Jack and George in midfield. Callum was partnered by Billy up front.
The first 15 mins was equal with City not getting set pieces right. Corners and free kicks coming to nothing. Felixstowe took the lead on 20 mins from a set piece that did work. A good corner was met by the skipper (no.6) who headed hard into the goal giving Cam no chance. Joel and Billy did work a good chance, but the cross found no forward. Hayden also had 2 free kicks that were not met by attackers in the box 1-0 htime.

At halftime Reece replaced Jack (injured knee) in midfield, and Kyran replaced Joel (injured back) Sam replaced Billy. ( who was to come back on later in the game in Midfield.) City had more set piece chances, but again the ball was not beating the Felixstowe defenders.
After 50 mins Felexistowe went 2-0 up when Max headed out well but the ball fell to the Felistowe skipper whose shot from 18 yards was clinical into the top of the net.

City then had 3 good chances, a Callum toe poke and misses from close range by Kyran and Sam could have seen City get right back into the game, but a goal would not come.

Finally a Corner by Tennie was put in well and Callum tucked home at the back post. But with 3 mins to go there was not time to equalise and Felixstowe held on for the win. 2-1

A game of what should have been. Competing with the league leaders is a positive. Defending and attacking set pieces something to look at on the training ground.
