Leigh's tacktics were to play on the break and use the long ball to a strong and quick forward. On 17 mins he got the better of Luke S for pace and finished well to draw level. 1-1. Minutes later Leigh were unlucky not to take the lead from a corner but the header that was nodded on was well stopped on the line by Joel who manned the post. City kept up the pressure and for back infront when the ball fell to Sam whos shot was slightly "scooped" and Charlie was again too strong and he headed in. 1-2. There was time for Charlie to get his first half Hatrick. A header from Tennie put through to Charlie who easily converted. 1-3.

On 45 mins James came off to see Brandon play on the right wing. Minutes later Luke E replaced Sam.
Leigh did have 1 chance in the 2nd half when another long ball saw the forward outpace and strength George, but the striker could only hit the bar with his shot.
On 55 mins Ed replaced Joel.
